Christy Higman-Clements

IMG_5160.png

Miami native, Christy Higman-Clements discovered her love of the Arabian horse  at the early age of 7.  She began taking lessons at a local stable and quickly advanced into becoming a viable competitor in English, equitation, hunt seat, sidesaddle and just about every discipline that she had the opportunity to try.  Christy rose from  being a class-A show competitor into the ranks of national competition by the time she was eleven years old.  She herself has won countless regional and  national titles and has continued her love of the Arabian horse by instilling her knowledge in the up and coming generations of enthusiasts.

After turning professional at twenty, Christy started her successful CHC Training

Center in Miami, Florida.  Specializing in equitation, English, hunter, side-saddle,

costume and show hack, Christy has navigated her amateurs and youth riders to many national titles.  She has been nominated for both trainer and instructor of the year in various disciplines by APAHA.

Judging since 2003, Christy has earned her large R status in the Arabian division from USEF. Her knowledge and passion for the breed is contagious.  She is a tremendous advocate for the breed through her training, coaching and judging expertise.

in 2021 the operation has moved to Ocala! Come visit out new facility!
